Meanwhile, please watch our cancer research page for other events that will take place. Teams of walkers and runners participate as ‘Bright Happy Power’ teams in events such as the Boston Marathon and the Jimmy Fund Walk to raise funds for cancer research.

ROUTES: Family length and proposed 20-40-60 mile distances on Boston’s North Shore through Ipswich, Essex, Hamilton, Rowley, Newbury, and Topsfield

2009 RIDE FACTS:

• Youngest rider -- 10 yrs old

• Longest distance -- 75 miles

• Largest single rider fundraising total -- over $3,000

• Ride fundraising total -- over $10,500

• Number of total riders: 68
