Join us to ride or volunteer for the first-annual COAST of HOPE Father’s Day Weekend Bike Ride (Sat, June 20). Start time 8:00 AM. Register online in advance or register on-site on Saturday morning!

SCENIC & HISTORIC ROADS:
To celebrate the 375th anniversary of Ipswich, MA, we rode 37.5 mile and/or 75 mile route! (12 and 20-mile routes were also available.) In addition to riding through roads that pass through Ipswich’s woods, wetlands and along its waterways, cyclists wound through neighboring coastal communities that were historically part of the Agawam-Ipswich settlement (Rowley, Newbury, Topsfield, Essex and Hamilton). To learn more about Ipswich’s 375th anniversary, visit www.ipswichma375.org.

The ride begand/ended at Ipswich High School (134 High Street, Route 1A/133, Ipswich, MA 01938). Parking was available.

FUNDS AT WORK:
$35 registration fee and a suggested fundraising commitment of $125. The registration fee covered all logistical costs of the bike ride, so that 100% of all fundraising for Bright Happy Power is directed toward the humanitarian service projects described on this site.

These projects include work among children with cancer and other catastrophic illnesses in New England, development of a pilot program addressing teen loss and trauma on Boston’s North Shore, and provision of care packages and supplies to children who require medical intervention in such nations as Chile, Colombia, Haiti and Guatemala.
